Ilamri is a multipurpose Finnish style knife from Nord Crown.

Ilmari is made of famous 95X18 stainless steel blade and has a Karelian birch handle. It has a shape of the famous "Finka" but with a flat grind blade with micro edge instead of a "Scandinavian" grind. It makes this knife more durable for cutting hard materials and not just a wood.

Ilmari comes with high quality leather sheath in very traditional nordic shape. You will love it!

Ilmari by North Crown

I own three knives from the North Crown Scandinavian series - Ilmari, Matti, and Tapio. All 3 are beautifully made of high quality materials. Especially quality of the Karelian birch used for handles is absolutely exceptional compared to many famous nordic knifes manufacturers. While some of the design decisions such as micro edge instead of scandi grind, and some others, may he debatable to styles purists i find it very practical and make knives more versatile for wider variety of the applications. While i love all 3, the Ilmari is my personal favorite. Handle shape is the most convenient for my hands. Blade profile covers wide range of light, medium or even some hard tasks with comfort and great maneuverability. Sheath is another victory for North Crown. It is never in the way, and will not limit your movement in most of the hunting/hiking situations in relatively flat regions.
