I believe this knife to be what Mors Kochanski envisioned of the perfect bushcraft knife. From the continuously curving edge and reasonable blade thickness to the full sized neutral handle, this knife delivers where other similar knives do not. The fit and finish is flawless, the edge (a true scandi, no secondary bevel) is incredibly sharp out of the box, and the balance is perfect. The sheath, an area where many other knives lack, is on par with the quality of the knife.
I also have to applaud the makers choice in steel. I admit that before looking at this knife I was unfamiliar with PGK, but after a little research I see this steel is on par with cru-wear and vascowear. Very good stuff. Great edge retention and toughness, exactly what you want in a bushcraft knife.
If you want a knife that comes with Mora sharpness, Bark River fit and finish, and premium steels I highly recommend you check out Beaver knife. Kirill Bobrovsky is a talented maker whose meticulous attention to detail puts his knives up there with the best on the market.
