N1 REX121 is a custom outdoor knife made by a talented knifemaker - Andrey Biryukov. Andrey is famous for his incredibly high-quality heat-treating of powdered super steels like CPM S125V, REX 121, and other modern steels.
N1 REX 121 is made of super steel - REX 121 and hardened to 67HRC! There are a lot of reviews of this incredible steel: cutting performance, edge retention, and more. Everything is great about this material, but this is not stainless steel and may rust! BUT BUT BUT Andrey found an exciting solution - all of his knives with REX121 blade are inclosed in the '"sandwich" of stainless steel or, as in this specific case, has a very interesting and unusual chrome-base coating.
The handle is made of beautiful Ironwood with a mosaic pin and nickel-silver bolster.
The knife comes with a simple but very well-made custom leather sheath.
