I like this knife so well that I’ve bought it twice. On the pro side, the design is solid with great lockup. It has an extremely sharp, thinly ground blade. The blade shape is very useful and the knife looks great. The two negatives are 1) very gritty action with extremely stiff lock spring (this smooths out with a few hundred openings and a little oil), and 2) while beautiful, the manufacturer seems to have some problems with the wood handle slabs. My first one (which I kept) had a small crack in the wood at the pivot screw. The second knife does not have any cracks, but the handle slabs bulge out from the liner so that daylight is visible between the slabs and the metal. The slabs flex so I’m concerned about breakage in the future. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so our humidity might be causing this, but these are the only wooden slabs I’ve ever had problems with. I like the knife well enough that I will keep and will replace the wooden slabs if they break with some homemade G10 handles. Overall, I recommend this knife, with the only caveat being the wooden handles. I’d love to see this with G10 or Micarta scales.
