Tsarap Fixed by Brutalica is an awesome new EDC fixed blade knife with a true Wharncliffe blade.
The blade is made of famous and well known D2 steel with a stonewash finish. The blade has a flat grind which is awesome for everyday tasks and has a very powerful cutting ability.
The Tsarap knife has a full tang construction with gray micarta scales on the handle.
It comes with a leather sheath with a metal clip and can be carried on the belt, backpack or pocket.
very good knife
I was considering a Bradford Guardian when I came across the Tsarap. I feel this knife has personality along with being functional and easy to carry. The sheath is great, often times I am disapointed with the sheaths. To me its a huge deal, if the sheath sucks I wont carry the knife. The handle is a excelent shape and the micarta is so nice.
Nice pocket fixed blade but a little thick but no bad
I liked this knife from the moment I saw it but I was a bit hesitant about its small handle. The handle is great for my medium sized hand and the blade geometry is perfect for such a small knife. Over all I like Tsarap and recommend it to anybody. Also, its great for EDC.
I have been following updates and new releases of Alexey Ponamarev’s ( BRUTALICA) knives for more than 3 years now. I received my Tsarap folder more than a year ago. When I first saw this knife, I immediately wanted to order one but shipping from Brutalica knives is not available to the U.S., so I asked a friend who was visiting me from Ukraine to buy me one. He bought me this knife over 3 years ago, where it had been transported from Moscow, to Kiev, and finally to me in the U.S. a year ago. I really liked the folding version of this knife but always wanted an additional fixed blade version. Thanks to your site, I was able to purchase one and have been really happy with it. I like the shape of the blade as well as the knife ergonomics and think it is one of the best city EDC fixed blade knives. I also like the quality of the leather sheath and overall feel it’s a great design. Also looking forward to see on your site a Ponomar folder.
